2013... 2014

It is amazing really how fast the years go by, the older and busier we get... months trickle by, as if they are weeks, the weeks turn to days and the days, well needless to say they are hrs really.
Most of the things we do, are counted in time and time itself is our own device of managing life.  Some might argue that time management helps avoid chaos and anarchy... that might be the case, it also creates slaves running around to make sure they get things done by the assigned time-frame...

2013 came and gone.
For me 2013 has been a year of self exploration, growth and trying new things.  It's found me wearing my travel shoes again, traversing the Globe. Taking up new hobbies, healthier at that I may add, such as Body Combat and making new friends.
I allowed myself to explore my creative side, though jewelry making, push myself physically by testing my body's strength... test my mental capacity and agility through work and study.
For 2014, I wish and want more of the same...
...

2014 came and is about to exit... And truth be told I really got my wish and much much more.
Sometimes you have to go inwards in order to understand what is happening all around.
2014 has been a year of reflection, hard work, dedication and new experiences.
This is the year I embrased my inner worrier, the year I took my first solo holiday and the year I saw my little family residing in different countries.
In 2014, my suitcase never emptied, I bumped into old colleagues at the airport, I became a morning person, made meditation part of my life and committed to do the Tough Madder.
This year spirituality, inner strength, love, hard work and physical endurance were tested to the max.

As I am sitting here reflecting, a little stronger, a little wiser and a little younger.  I am slowly embracing the lighter side of life. Committing to make extreme self care part of my daily life.  Instead of getting stressed and worry about what might be, to take action and make it what I would like it to be.
Instead of criticising and getting annoyed by others, look for the positive side of each situation.
2015 will be an interesting year, no doubt full of adventures and I am looking forward to unwrapping what is in store for me...
