Airport ramblings

After two weeks in Hong Kong, long office days and evenings catching up I am ready and looking forward to head back home.
Before my trip I had all good intentions of going to the hotel gym regularly, I am ashamed to admit I have only been once... I had all good intentions to use the company gym, that didn't happen either.
So what happen? At the moment my head feels like a pressure cooker ready to explode, after what felt a two week long perpetual meeting. I am blessed and lucky to be part of the most amazing team in our company and with that comes the need to keep up with the demand.
So add non stop meetings, long lunches sprinkled with amazing amounts of food, some shopping, site seeing, long evening talks coupled with whiskey and sleepless nights and we land at the Hong Kong airport waiting for my flight back to London.
If life is a box of chocolates, then mine is certainly the rich with caramel in the center kind... You take a bite and you don't know if it will be soft or hard caramel in the center until after you tried it.
Had a couple first on this trip including sampling some exotic and bizarre concoctions... All experiences to add to the big book of life and keep track via the book of faces.
I often wonder if it's sad that I can tell where fellow travellers are coming from based on their duty free bags... Then again a girl likes her shopping and I am not going to break the pattern ...
Half an hour before boarding surrounded by a confetti of travellers reminiscing on the musings of life's adventures...
